I have a really good friend, Amy Kalinchuk, that makes the most amazing, handmade soaps.

She started small, making soap only for her family, only to find out that you can't just make two or three bars of soap at a time, you make more like twenty.  So, with the extra bars of soap lying around, she decided to sell some to friends and co-workers.  The soap sold out in a day.  She made more.  That batch sold out quickly as well.  She kept making more and selling more to where she's now got a thriving little business.

I offered to build her a site that people could purchase her soaps online in exchange for some soap.  Not a bad little deal.  Consequently, soapcrone.com was born.  Since it was built with PHP and MySQL, Amy has full reign over changing content and adding pictures.

The design reflects Amy's personality and color taste...dominated by purples and greens.
